The First Full Session (Going Deeper)
Once we decide to work together, our first full session is dedicated to going deeper. We’ll complete your intake and talk through your history in detail. Many clients find this process warm and insightful, and it often brings clarity about goals right away.
How Sessions Work: Connect, Assess, Intervene
I don’t use rigid agendas; I always defer to what you need that day. Most sessions follow a simple flow:
Connect: We ground, check in, and identify what feels most important right now.
Assess: We clarify patterns, stressors, emotions, and what’s getting in the way.
Intervene: We choose an approach that fits, skills, strategies, deeper processing, or relational repair, so you leave with something useful.
